New Bacteria Combating Wall Lining System
September sees the launch of Rearo's new wall lining system Protex-antibacTM.
A simple, elegant and versatile wall lining system, Protex-antibacTM offers tongued and grooved panels fabricated with Medite moisture resistant MDF, faced with Formica® high pressure laminate (HPL) which fit together quickly to form a tough durable finish to any wall.
Dr Chris Woodhall, BluScientific Test Data, Glasgow Caledonian University said:
"These surfaces are designed to offer one of the best opportunities that can enable microbiological contamination to be reduced to a minimum"
With the increase in cases of MRSA, E-Coli and other infectious bacteria it has never been more important to provide a clean and safe environment. The very nature of laminated wall panels ensure a smooth even surface which is easy to wipe clean over and over and without damage to the surface properties.
After extensive research and independent testing of the materials by BluScientific at Glasgow New Bacteria Combating Wall Lining System Caledonian University, the team at Rearo are confident that the new product will be a great success.
The system which will be available from an exclusive choice of six Formica laminates will be supplied with bespoke packaging, customised trims and profiles and a comprehensive installation guide and will be available at all Rearo service centres.
Commenting on the new system, Graham Mercer , MD at Rearo said: "Protex-antibac will offer a simple, durable and safe product which is the perfect choice for all public areas, but of particular benefit to critical areas within hospitals, schools and food preparation areas.
