GREEN WELLY
The Green Welly Stop at Tyndrum - one of the best known stopping places for tourists in the West Highlands - turned to Rearo when it was decided to build a new cafe.
The new cafe incorporates toilet cubicles, tongue & grooved Selkie Board and Sibu laminate to the servery.
Evolving from a post office with a single petrol pump, The Green Welly Stop now offers an outdoor store, restaurant & cafe, a filling station, a whisky shop and craft centre.
It also, naturally, stocks wellies in a variety of sizes and colours!
Iain Wilkie, part-owner of the business and the person responsible for the latest building project, said: "The original cafe opened in 1974. The new cafe is even more comfortable and offers a wider choice of snacks for our visitors. I was very pleased with the materials supplied by Rearo."
The village of Tyndrum is located at one of the major crossroads in the Highlands at the junction of the busy A85 and A82 roads with travellers from the south able to choose to head north to Glen Coe and Fort William or west to Oban.
